1.「恨能挑啟爭端；愛能遮掩一切過錯。」（箴10:12）
Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.(Pro.10:12)
2.「紛爭的起頭如水放洩；所以在爭競爆發之先，就當制止。」（箴17:14）
The beginning of contention is like letting out water; Therefore abandon strife before it breaks out.(Pro.17:14)
3.「缺了柴，火就熄滅；沒有傳閒話的人，爭論便止息。」（箴26:20）
For lack of wood the fire goes out, And where there is no whisperer, contention quiets down. (Pro.26:20)
4.「過路的人干涉與自己無關的紛爭，就像人揪狗的耳朵。」（箴26:17）
He who passes by and meddles with strife that does not belong to him, Is like one who takes a dog by the ears.(Pro.26:17)
5.「攪動牛奶必出奶油，擠壓鼻子必出血；照樣，激動怒氣必起爭端。」（箴30:33）
For the churning of milk produces butter, And the wringing of the nose brings forth blood, So the pressing of wrath brings forth strife.(Pro.30:33)
6.「祂不爭競，不喧嚷，街上也沒有人聽見祂的聲音。壓傷的蘆葦，祂不折斷；將殘的火把，祂不吹滅，直到祂施行公理，至於得勝。」（太12:19-20）
He will not strive nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench until He brings forth justice unto victory.(Mat.12:19-20)
7.「凡事都不私圖好爭，也不貪圖虛榮，只要心思卑微，各人看別人比自己強；各人不單看重自己的長處，也看重別人的。」（腓2:3-4）
Doing nothing by way of selfish ambition nor by way of vainglory, but in lowliness of mind considering one another more excellent than yourselves; Not regarding each his own virtues, but each the virtues of others also.(Phl.2:3-4)

I desire therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and reasoning;(1Ti.2:8)
9.「你要逃避青年人的私慾，同那清心呼求主的人，竭力追求公義、信、愛、和平。至於愚拙無學問的辯論，總要棄絕，知道這些事是產生爭競的。」（提後2:22-23）
But flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish questionings and those arising from an untrained mind refuse, knowing that they beget contentions.(2Ti.2:22-23)
10.「因為何處有嫉妒和私圖好爭，何處就有擾亂和各樣的壞事。惟獨從上頭來的智慧，先是純潔的，後是和平的、和藹的、柔順的，滿有憐憫和善果，沒有偏見，沒有假冒。並且義的果子，乃是由那些製造和平的人，在和平中所種植的。」（雅3:16-18）
For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there disorder and every worthless practice are. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, forbearing, compliant, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.(Jas.3:16-18)
