「末了的話，弟兄們，凡是真實的，凡是莊重的，凡是公義的，凡是純潔的，凡是可愛的，凡是有美名的；若有甚麼德行，若有甚麼稱讚，這些事你們都要思念。」(腓四8)

The things which you have also learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things; and the God of peace will be with you(Phil4:8)

基督徒生活中優越的美德，必定不僅僅是天然的屬性，這些必定是那活在我們裏面之基督的彰顯。

這些優越的人性美德可比喻為彰顯手的手套，基督可比喻為適合作手套內容的手。
