1. 製造和平的人有福了，因為他們必稱為神的兒子。－馬太福音5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. (Matthew 5：9)
2. 愛是恆久忍耐，又有恩慈；愛是不嫉妒；愛是不自誇，不張狂，不作不合宜的事，不求自己的益處，不輕易發怒，不計算人的惡，不因不義而歡樂，卻與真理同歡樂；凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐。－哥林多前書13:4-7
Love suffers long. Love is kind; it is not jealous. Love does not brag and is not puffed up; It does not behave unbecomingly and does not seek its own things; it is not provoked and does not take account of evil; It does not rejoice because of unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; It covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13：4-7)
3. 若是你的弟兄犯了罪，就責備他；他若悔改，就赦免他。若是他一天七次得罪你，又七次回轉，對你說，我悔改了，你總要赦免他。－路加福音17:3-4
Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day and turns again to you seven times, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him. (Luke 17：3-4)
4. 所以你們既是神的選民，聖別蒙愛的人，就要穿上憐恤的心腸、恩慈、卑微、溫柔、恆忍。倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此容忍，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。在這一切之上，還要穿上愛，愛是全德的聯索。－歌羅西書3:12-14
Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, inward parts of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, long-suffering; Bearing one another and forgiving one another, if anyone should have a complaint against anyone; even as the Lord forgave you, so also should you forgive. And over all these things put on love, which is the uniting bond of perfectness. (Colossians 3：12-14)
5. 親愛的，我們應當彼此相愛，因為愛是出於神的；凡愛弟兄的，都是從神生的，並且認識神。不愛弟兄的，未曾認識神，因為神就是愛。...從來沒有人見過神；我們若彼此相愛，神就住在我們裡面，祂的愛也在我們裡面得了成全。－約翰一書4:7-8,12
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been begotten of God and knows God. He who does not love has not known God, because God is love. … No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. (1 John 4：7-8, 12)
6. 人若因著對神的感覺而忍受憂愁，受冤屈之苦，就是甜美的。你們若因犯罪挨拳打而忍耐，有什麼可誇耀的？但你們若因行善受苦而忍耐，這在神乃是甜美的。－彼得前書2:19-20
For this is grace, if anyone, because of a consciousness of God, bears sorrows by suffering unjustly. For what glory is it if, while sinning and being buffeted, you endure? But if, while doing good and suffering, you endure, this is grace with God. (1 Peter 2：19-20)
7. 不要以惡報惡，要準備在眾人面前作善美的事。若是可能，總要盡力與眾人和睦。親愛的，不要為自己伸冤，寧可給神的忿怒留地步，因為經上記著：“主說，伸冤在我，我必報應。”反而“你的仇敵若餓了，就給他喫，若渴了，就給他喝，因為你這樣行，就是把炭火堆在他的頭上。”你不可為惡所勝，反要以善勝惡。－羅馬書12:17-21
Repay no one evil for evil; take forethought for things honorable in the sight of all men. If possible, as far as it depends on you, live in peace with all men. Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'' But "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing this you will heap coals of fire upon his head.'' Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good. (Romans 12：17-21)
8. 最要緊的，是彼此熱切相愛，因為愛能遮蓋眾多的罪。－彼得前書4:8
Above all, have fervent love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4：8)
9. 你們站著禱告的時候，若向甚麼人懷怨，要赦免他，好叫你們在諸天之上的父，也赦免你們的過犯。你們若不赦免人，你們在諸天之上的父，也不赦免你們的過犯。－馬可福音11:25-26
And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in the heavens may also forgive you your offenses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your offenses. (Mark 11：25-26)
10. 只是我告訴你們這聽見的人，要愛你們的仇敵，善待恨你們的人。要為那咒詛你們的祝福，為那凌辱你們的禱告。有人打你的臉，連另一面也給他打。有人奪你的外衣，連裡衣也不要攔阻他拿去。凡求你的，就給他；有人奪你的東西去，不用再要回來。你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人。－路加福音6:27-31
But to you who hear I say, Love your enemies; do well to those who hate you; Bless those who curse you; pray for those who revile you. To him who beats you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. To everyone who asks of you, give; and from him who takes away your things, do not require their return. And just as you want men to do to you, do to them likewise. (Luke 6：27-31)
