1. 比安貧樂道更難的，是給你財富，而你仍然是原來的那一個人。
「你要囑咐那些今世富足的人，不要心思高傲，也不要寄望於無定的錢財，只要寄望於那將百物豐富的供給我們享受的神；」（提前6:17）
Charge those who are rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches but on God, who affords us all things richly for our enjoyment;

2. 學會怎麼賺錢以後，下一步是學習怎麼使喚錢，而不是被錢使喚。
「因為貪財是萬惡之根，有人貪戀錢財，就受迷惑，離棄了信仰，用許多苦痛把自己刺透了。」（提前6:10）
For the love of money is a root of all evils, because of which some, aspiring after money, have been led away from the faith and pierced themselves through with many pains.

3. 要賺得比錢更多，否則潮汐退去時，連那些賺來的錢也不是你的。
「神卻對他說，無知的人哪，今夜必要你的魂；你所豫備的，要歸誰？那為自己積財，對神卻不富足的，也是這樣。」（路12:20-21）
But God said to him, Foolish one, this night they are requiring your soul from you; and the things which you have prepared, whose will they be? So is he who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.

4. 當你總是為自己保留時，最好去查查天上的帳戶是不是空的。
「你們要給人，就必有給你們的，用十足的量器，連搖帶按，上尖下流的倒在你們懷裏；因為你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。」（路6:38）
Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, they will give into your bosom. For with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you in return.

5. 活出你在地上的價值，比用肝換來一張支票更富足。
「所以人若潔淨自己，脫離這些卑賤的，就必成為貴重的器皿，分別為聖，合乎主人使用，豫備行各樣的善事。」（提後2:21）
If therefore anyone cleanses himself from these, he will be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, useful to the master, prepared unto every good work.

6. 用錢結交朋友，並且送給他錢也買不到的事物，這種人才是精明人。
「我又告訴你們，要藉著那不義的錢財，為自己結交朋友，到了錢財無用的時候，他們可以接你們到永遠的帳幕裏去。」（路16:9）
And I say to you, Make friends for yourselves by means of the mammon of unrighteousness, so that when it fails, they may receive you into the eternal tabernacles.

7. 真正的富足，是在外面一無所有的時候，才看得出裡頭究竟有沒有！
「我知道怎樣處卑賤，也知道怎樣處富餘；或飽足、或飢餓、或富餘、或缺乏，在各事上，並在一切事上，我都學得祕訣。」（腓4:12）
