1.「恨能挑啟爭端；愛能遮掩一切過錯。」（箴10:12）

Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.(Pro.10:12)

2.「紛爭的起頭如水放洩；所以在爭競爆發之先，就當制止。」（箴17:14）

The beginning of contention is like letting out water; Therefore abandon strife before it breaks out.(Pro.17:14)

3.「缺了柴，火就熄滅；沒有傳閒話的人，爭論便止息。」（箴26:20）

For lack of wood the fire goes out, And where there is no whisperer, contention quiets down. (Pro.26:20)

4.「過路的人干涉與自己無關的紛爭，就像人揪狗的耳朵。」（箴26:17）

He who passes by and meddles with strife that does not belong to him, Is like one who takes a dog by the ears.(Pro.26:17)
